Our History
The Point Chevalier Amateur Athletic Club was established in 1945. Originally intended as a summer fitness training for the Point Chevalier Pirates Rugby League Club, we have grown and developed into our current form - one of the largest children's athletic clubs in Auckland. We have trophies that go back to the 1950's that are still competed for every season. We have a strong tradition in being a family and community focusedĀ club which is one of the threads that binds those who participate - children and parents alike - in making PCAAC the success it is today. Currently, we are one of the few children's only athletic clubs left in the central Auckland area. And we continue to grow year after year offering a fun based, family friendly programme in track and field athletics as well as general all-round skill development for children aged 3 -14+ years of age.
