Each year the best atheltes aged 10 & 11 from Taupo north compete for Auckland vs the best athletes of the same age from New South Wales.

This year Pt Chev athletes had some stunning performances in the Auckland colours with:

Gold Medal
Hinemoa Fonua - 11yr Long Jump - stunning 4.60m which was 50cm better than her P.B.
Laura Watkinson - 11yr 1500m - improving on her Bronze last year in Sydney

Silver Medal
Jackson Smolenski- 11yr 400m - another who improved on his bronze in Sydney last year
