How Thurs Works

Thursday Development Squad nights are designed for children aged 10 and above who want to learn more about athletics in terms of technique for different disciplines and work towards improvement. The evening is split into two sessions of 45 minutes. One session focuses on running technique and the other on jump and/or throw technique.

This training is also available by invitation to athletes ages 7 – 9 as an extra training for external athletic competitions. You must obtain permission and register with the club to attend these trainings.

The training is held at Walker Park  on Thursday evenings from 6pm to 7:30pm – warmup starts from 5.45pm.

There is no additional charge for this session, the club reserves the right to limit registrations, priority will be given to athletes who actively participate in club night and external athletic competitions.
