Club Coaches

We have a variety of coaches at Pt Chev Athletics, including Parent Volunteers, Youth Coaches, and Professional Coaches.

For the 25/26 season, we are excited to welcome back super-sprinters Lex Revell-Lewis and Kadin Taylor, who will be coaching at both the Junior and Senior ends, as well as sprint and long jump coach Steve Erkkila and throw coach Savannah Scheen.

Lex Revell Lewis

Lex is a three-time national champion and one-time Oceania champion, who, in March 2025 become the first Kiwi to run a sub-46 seconds 400m, clocking 45.88 seconds and setting a new national record (breaking a 27 year old record).  He has his sights set on the 2028 LA Olympics.

Kadin Taylor

Kadin is also currently setting the track ablaze, and currently holds national titles in both the Junior Men 100m and Junior Men 200m, as well as the Open Men 4x400m relay.
