Our History

The Point Chevalier Amateur Athletic Club was established in 1945. Originally intended as a summer fitness training for the Point Chevalier Pirates Rugby League Club, we have grown and developed into our current form – one of the largest children’s athletic clubs in Auckland. We have trophies that go back to the 1950’s that are still competed for every season. We have a strong tradition in being a family and community focused club which is one of the threads that binds those who participate – children and parents alike – in making PCAAC the success it is today.

Currently, we are one of the few children’s only athletic clubs left in the central Auckland area. And we continue to offer a fun based, family friendly programme in track and field athletics as well as general all-round skill development for children aged 3 -14+ years of age.
