Beating the birds to touch down on the Park were:
Maiya (2nd Ak SS X-C) and Gabrielle Christini, with NZ Schools X-C Champs in Rotorua this Saturday;
Ben and Oliver Gregory, looking to tune-up for Race 3 in the Grand Prix X-C series;
Lewis Mazza-Carson running sharp after his top 10 finish at Inter-Schools;
plus top Junior prospects Eva Pointon and Manutaeao Fa’alogo-Lilo and promising youngster David Toloa.
